"Street dogs and family pets in Bali are being captured and cruelly killed to feed the island's growing trade in dog meat.

"Our investigation uncovered frightened dogs being caught and roughly bound before being clubbed, poisoned or even strangled to death.

Not even small puppies are spared

Cruel bastards!

But what can we in Australia do about this?

Do what I do, for a start: completely boycott Bali.

Don't go there - ever!.

Don't accept tacky wooden gifts from Bali, given to you by friends and relatives that go there.

But we do that anyway....that's clearly not enough!

Tell your friends not to go to Bali.

Encourage them to go to Tassie for a holiday instead.

Take Action

Sometimes we need to just stop venting on these bloody forums.

I mean ANYONE can do that.

It takes a stronger and better person to stand up and be counted regarding issues such as this.

To think....I'm not even an animal lover....and yet I'm absolutely disgusted at how these (and no doubt other) defenseless creatures are so cruelly dealt with.

NB. A link to a website was provided by Mothra on the previous page of this topic. Greg has also provided a link  above. Please....let's forget our gripes with each other for a change and take a look at these links.

And make a stand against these bastards!

Only 8% of Samsung phones are made in Korea, if that's what you're getting at.

Indeed.

"Please sign this petition! It will be taken to Bali on 30th August 2017 and personally hand delivered to the Bali media, and with the support of Australian media to uncover this murderous trade."

South Korea is a Corporate State. Nothing will change until the handful of corporations that dominate the country condemn and then stop the practice. It matters not what percentage of phones are actually made in Korea ...

Doesn't matter,  the money goes back to Korea.

You're willing to penalise someone who makes wooden carvings for a few dollars a day yet you're happy to support a multinational?

Bit unfair.

Are cheap, wood-carved phones available at Salamanca Markets?
