Newspoll keeps propping up sagging Shorty
May 29th, 2017 at 7:16am

Mal obviously urgently told Newspoll to keep propping up slipping sagging Shorty to keep him there as Mal doesn't want to have to cope with Albo Sneezy.

But the true results are leaking out as Mal leads in preferred PM as the thought of Shorty as "PM" makes most people feel like puking.

Newspoll shows Labor has the lead over govt
Updated: 6:32 am, Monday, 29 May 2017

The Coalition is trailing Labor for the 13th consecutive week, according to the latest Newspoll.

Despite the government campaigning for its multi-billion dollar school funding boost for the last fortnight, the Coalition is trailing Labor for the 13th consecutive week, according to the latest Newspoll published in the Australian.

The ALP still has the lead on the LNP, unchanged at 53 percent, while the LNP is also unchanged at 47 percent of the two-party-preferred vote.

The Primary Vote also remains unchanged with the LNP sitting on 36, Labor also on 36, the Greens on 10, closely followed by One Nation with 9 percent of the primary vote.

For preferred Prime Minister, Malcolm Turnbull has gained further support, with 45 percent, but Bill Shorten fell two points, to 33 percent, while the rest were undecided.

Preferred PM means nothing. For most of 2007 the Murdoch press claimed Howard was preferred PM over Rudd and so would win.

Who won the 2007 election, YouLiar?

You are as deluded as the Murdoch press was in 2007.

It is not just NewsPoll showing results of 53:47 or 54:46, REACHtell, Essential and IPSOS do too. They also “propping up” Shorten, YouLiar?

Newspoll: Post-budget bounce still eludes Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull
Mick Tsikas Staff writers News Corp Australia Network MAY 29, 2017 2:37AM

...
Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull retains his lead over Opposition Leader Bill Shorten in the latest Newspoll.

THE Turnbull government’s desperate bid to win back voters with a “middle ground” budget has stalled, with the Coalition trailing Labor by 47 to 53 per cent in two-party terms after weeks of campaigning for its economic plan.

The latest Newspoll, produced for The Australian, shows the Coalition’s primary vote has flatlined as Mr Turnbull struggles to narrow Labor’s lead amid disputes over an $18.6 billion school funding boost and new taxes on workers and banks.

However the embattled Liberal leader retains his lead over Opposition Leader Bill Shorten as preferred prime minister, leading by 45 to 33 per cent.

Voter support for the Coalition government and Labor remains unchanged since the Newspoll two weeks ago, with both steady at 36 per cent.

The poll show 28 per cent of voters continue to prefer minor parties with 10 per cent primary vote support for the Greens, nine per cent for One Nation and nine per cent for others including the Nick Xenophon Team.

The survey was conducted from Thursday to Sunday and is the 13th consecutive Newspoll in which the Coalition has trailed Labor.

I think the polls are rigged too juLiar. I reckon the true figure would be around 55-45 so it is obvious the right wing media (including the ABC) are propping up this pathetic government.
Unfortunately Labor has too much integrity to block supply so it looks like we just have to suffer the fools for a while yet.

Mackas,

an intriguing roam into fantasy. People do this when they are deeply distressed.

Labor is doomed because they cannot explain how they will fund their enormous unsustainable unproductive SOCIALIST WELFARE DEBT.

54:46 says it is the Libs that are doomed.

Also—they will leave a gross debt of $1Trn in 2019

Also—the NBN will have garnered the hate of most of the population by 2019.

Also—the robodebt being extended to pensioners will see that demographic turn against the Libs

Also—it is clear the Libs are an incompetent shambles.

The Libs will be lucky to lose only 53:47, very very lucky!

Labor MUST grasp the nettle and start ripping up the copper internet and rolling out FTTH again. Whatever the Libs and the RW MSM (that is, ALL of it) criticise and snipe about that the satisfaction with a real superfast network (make the base plan 100:100) will soon drown that sniping then showcase the success, growth and jobs businesses can achieve with real broadband, ditto hospitals large and small.
