All scientific studies show that there is very little difference between IQ and gender.

On average, is the key word.

So if you have a large number of low numbers and a small number of high ones, it can have the same average as a medium number of mediocre numbers.  It is well documented that males have more outliers, that is, either very low and very high IQ, so you'd have a hard time disputing it.

LOL! No it's not.

Haven't you heard? Harvard thinks it's found the new Einstein.

Her name is Sabrina Pasterski. She's a 23yr old Cuban immigrant.

Cool.

She must be the "1" in the 175 division, of which there are 18 men.

...

I'd advise you to look into this rather than reflexively arguing.  It's not a new finding.

From 1995
Quote:
Men Dominate Both Ends of IQ Spectrum, Survey Says : Intelligence: The high number of males who lack basic skills surprises experts. Sex differences in brains studied.
July 07, 1995|THOMAS H. MAUGH II | TIMES MEDICAL WRITER

The average man and the average woman have about the same level of intelligence, but men account for a higher proportion of both geniuses and the mentally deficient, according to a new study of IQ test results.

Seven of every eight people in the top 1% on IQ tests are men, accounting for their overrepresentation in the elite ranks of the sciences and mathematics where such genius is crucial, University of Chicago researchers report today in the journal Science.

From 2005:
Quote:
Finally there's a sex difference in variability. It's crucial here to look at the right samples. Estimates of variance depend highly on the tails of the distribution, which by definition contain smaller numbers of people. Since people at the tails of the distribution in many surveys are likely to be weeded out for various reasons, it's important to have large representative samples from national populations. In this regard the gold standard is the Science paper by Novell and Hedges, which reported six large stratified probability samples. They found that in 35 out of 37 tests, including all of the tests in math, space, and science, the male variance was greater than the female variance.

One other data set meeting the gold standard is displayed in this graph, showing the entire population of Scotland, who all took an intelligence test in a single year. The X axis represents IQ, where the mean is 100, and the Yaxis represents the proportion of men versus women. As you can see these are extremely orderly data. In the middle part of the range, females predominate; at both extremes, males slightly predominate. Needless to say, there is a large percentage of women at both ends of the scale — but there is also large sex difference.

https://www.edge.org/3rd_culture/debate05/debate05_index.html

From 2007
Quote:
A team of psychologists - admittedly, all male psychologists - at Edinburgh University has made a discovery which, for many of us, will not be very surprising. That is, that the number of super-intelligent men is double that of super-intelligent women. In the brightest two per cent of the population, there are two men to every one woman.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-483707/Only-men-geniuses--far-stupid-men...

From 2013:

Quote:
There are no mean or average differences between the sexes but there are differences at the extremes. Thus men tend to be over represented both at the extremes of the Bell Curve. The most brilliant are men and so as the most challenged meaning the average is the same but the distribution is wider for men. In any very large sample tested men are over-represented at the top and bottom. In short, the standard deviation for IQ is higher in men than in women.

https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/sideways-view/201410/are-men-really-more-in...

From 2014:
The male tendency to be over-represented at the extremes and the female tendency to crowd around the center of the distribution is a fundamental aspect of sex differences in humans.[134]

I don't know, it being linked from Breitbart makes sense. After all Steve Bannon accounts for the increase in males in the lower end of the IQ scale.

Good link.  Did you read this part?

Quote:
Some studies have identified the degree of IQ variance as a difference between males and females. Males tend to show greater variability on many traits, for example having both highest and lowest scores on tests of cognitive abilities,[9][57][58]

Feingold (1992b) and Hedges and Nowell (1995) have reported that, despite average sex differences being small and relatively stable over time, test score variances of males were generally larger than those of females.[62] Feingold found that males were more variable than females on tests of quantitative reasoning, spatial visualisation, spelling, and general knowledge.

One does wonder why you feel the need to argue.

What's the matter, Honky? No intelligent, informed rebuttal?

Not only have i looked into this before, i've written a paper on it. Do you have any questions?

They can just as easily be strong and confident as anyone else and genteelly starve to death.

Who actually gives a damn?  Most of these 'strong, confident people' have had a good run and are often snakes anyway that you wouldn't piss on in a Victorian bushfire .... that's why eventually they strongly and confidently go to the gallows...

I'd disagree with that grappler and here's why.
I put the whole thing down to evolutionary pressure.

For most of human history , a man had to be courageous, a risk taker and prove his value to the tribe or he got no women and his DNA perished.

So a man who was meek, adverse to risk and did not contribute value could not pass on these attributes as women, at their core, find these attributes repulsive,

Modern society has seen a hijacking of what is natural and this hijacking has been orchestrated mainly by beta males with the assistance of angry feminists who do not have feminine energy.

You see, the beta males seed should rightly die out and the woman who does not know how to nurture and be feminine should rightly see her eggs unfertilised.

In nature, the strong confident guys and the sexy sassy women would be populating the earth.

But by trying to tear down strong confident guys , the beta males hope to sneak their penises in,

And by slut shaming sexy sassy women, the ugly feminists hope to get some action from the beta males, or , if necessary do a surrogacy with the turkey blaster because a turkey baster is probably hotter then a beta male.

The media is particularly full of beta males.
Modern social conditioning is a beta male narrative,
The rise of the feminist is not because of the feminists themselves. It is because the beta males in the media and politics want an allies to help denigrate alpha male activity.

The business world is still ruled by alpha males. Another word for the business world is the marketplace or as I like to call it reality,

But the media and politics are full of supplicationg, apologising, self doubting chumps.
It's why the media and politics always have a certain odour about them. We know they just aren't right, they just don't pass the sniff test

You wouldn't have a clue what is natural  Grin
