The average man and the average woman have about the same level of intelligence, but men account for a higher proportion of both geniuses and the mentally deficient, according to a new study of IQ test results.

Seven of every eight people in the top 1% on IQ tests are men, accounting for their overrepresentation in the elite ranks of the sciences and mathematics where such genius is crucial, University of Chicago researchers report today in the journal Science.

Finally there's a sex difference in variability. It's crucial here to look at the right samples. Estimates of variance depend highly on the tails of the distribution, which by definition contain smaller numbers of people. Since people at the tails of the distribution in many surveys are likely to be weeded out for various reasons, it's important to have large representative samples from national populations. In this regard the gold standard is the Science paper by Novell and Hedges, which reported six large stratified probability samples. They found that in 35 out of 37 tests, including all of the tests in math, space, and science, the male variance was greater than the female variance.

     One other data set meeting the gold standard is displayed in this graph, showing the entire population of Scotland, who all took an intelligence test in a single year. The X axis represents IQ, where the mean is 100, and the Yaxis represents the proportion of men versus women. As you can see these are extremely orderly data. In the middle part of the range, females predominate; at both extremes, males slightly predominate. Needless to say, there is a large percentage of women at both ends of the scale — but there is also large sex difference.

A team of psychologists - admittedly, all male psychologists - at Edinburgh University has made a discovery which, for many of us, will not be very surprising. That is, that the number of super-intelligent men is double that of super-intelligent women. In the brightest two per cent of the population, there are two men to every one woman.

There are no mean or average differences between the sexes but there are differences at the extremes. Thus men tend to be over represented both at the extremes of the Bell Curve. The most brilliant are men and so as the most challenged meaning the average is the same but the distribution is wider for men. In any very large sample tested men are over-represented at the top and bottom. In short, the standard deviation for IQ is higher in men than in women.

When a study turns up that is counter intuitive with reality there is normally an explanation.

Modern society has seen a hijacking of what is natural and this hijacking has been orchestrated mainly by beta males with the assistance of angry feminists who do not have feminine energy.

You see, the beta males seed should rightly die out and the woman who does not know how to nurture and be feminine should rightly see her eggs unfertilised.

In nature, the strong confident guys and the sexy sassy women would be populating the earth.
