In the coming days and weeks the public is going to be force fed with all the usual smears, fabrications and lies. The fake-news media will pluck more stories from thin air, stoking hate and resentment at every opportunity, and always using their universal term of abuse; “convicted drug smuggler Schapelle Corby”. The vilification and propaganda will be unremitting.

All that will be missing will be reference to the truth. There will be no mention of the FOI data which proves her innocence. There will be no reference to the ministerial correspondence which proves that Howard’s government and the AFP knew that her bag had been tampered with. There will be no coverage of the documents which prove that these despicable cowards withheld this crucial life-critical evidence from the court, from Schapelle, and from Parliament.

All of this, and the tranche of official material which demonstrates the utter corruption of Canberra and the AFP will be hidden from the public. The cache of data held on the Expendable Project website will be censored, and the project itself will be ridiculed to deter people from looking for themselves.

Instead of exposing the weakness and self-interest corruption of politicians, instead of informing the public of a scandal that has been perpetrated in their name, the Australian media have collectively sunk into a sewer of trivia, spite and character assassination. Their support for the powerful and the privileged will remain unwavering. Their contempt for an ordinary family who have battled courageously against all odds will continued unabated.

THE BANQUET OF HATE

This is the media in Australia as it is. There is no honest journalism and no integrity whatsoever. It is a toxic force; a poison on society, which specialises in spitting out fake-news and destroying lives. Those who operate under the umbrella of the word journalism in this country are spineless sociopaths: they are the enemies of the people.

Many who read this will be well aware of the accuracy of these statements, but the vast majority of the public are oblivious. They live in a bubble, consuming the lies they are fed as fact, never thinking for themselves, and often feeding gleefully on the banquet of malice and hate.

This is the situation Schapelle and her family find themselves in the middle of.

They are the victims of criminality: a political system that feeds the egos of weak men rather than the mouths of the hungry, and a media that serves a status quo of back-slapping arrogance and an absolute disregard for decency, honesty and human rights

5. Why wasn’t Schapelle Corby, or the Bali court, ever told about the addition of this weight, after the bags left her hands, particularly given that it broadly equated to the weight of the marijuana?

Why did AFP Commissioner Keelty tell the media, just two weeks before the verdict, that there was no evidence of airport drug syndicates using innocent passengers, when this was clearly, demonstrably, and utterly, false? Why didn’t the AFP admit that it had held the Kessing Reports for months, and why did it withhold a host of other vital support evidence, which proved the long-term and systemic nature of such syndication at Sydney Airport? Why wasn’t Keelty disciplined or reprimanded for this intervention, even after the Law Council of Australia pointed out that it would have constituted contempt of court had the trial been held within Australian jurisdiction?

7. Why did the AFP and DFAT evade and frustrate the forensic and DNA tests which Schapelle Corby repeatedly begged for in court?

8. Why did the AFP tell Parliament that it couldn't perform marijuana pollen tests, when it had the capacity to do so, and indeed, when it had originally offered to perform them for the INP? Why did it refuse the services of a qualified forensics expert, who had volunteered to perform them?

Why did he then decimate the appeal by attacking her Indonesian defence team to the media? Why has the precise role of Justice & Customs Minister Ellison in this affair, Trowell’s long term friend, never been explained?

Why didn’t they reveal the actual contents of the note when subsequently asked?
