The Benefits of Matcha Green Tea
May 27th, 2017 at 4:55pm

I bought some Matcha green tea today and it's not bad.  Seaweedy tasting but not as bitter as the usual green tea. Among other things its claim to fame is  ...

High in Antioxidants
Loaded with Catechin EGCG
Enhances calm
Boosts memory and concentration
Increases energy levels and endurance
Burns calories
Detoxifies the body
Fortifies the immune system
Regulates cholesterol and blood sugar

...

If you have a Japanese grocery store nearby try some.

I bought 100% pure from a Japanese store, of which there are many.  It was $23 for 200g.

I bought bags from woollies $6.99 I think.. ouch   your going to say it aint any good arent you BO>.

Cry Cry.. I am just learning to drink green tea I like strong black tea.. and I find this has little taste...so its a slow from my point of view.. but if you say its good for me I will give it a try....I dont think we have Japanese shops in ACT...they tell you to only leave bag in hot water for 30 sec.. thats seems like an awful waste to me.. is that really how its made...?

I am new at this

Green Tea is good but Matcha is 10 times better and it is a powder.

I always let my Green Tea steep and actually left the bag in the cup until I had finished it.  The stronger the better really.  It should brew for at least a few minutes.

I think the most important thing is not to use TOO hot water.  Let it cool down for awhile after it boils before you pour it.

thank you my dear will give it a go.. it is called Matcha  but thats about it... I thought it may lose all its properties if left in for too long....will go and make a cuppa now see if it sets the mood for me to do my ironing..
