They all are - the ones at the end are worse.
the referee lets the winner keep bashing their opponent when he's already knocked out.
It's criminal.

A ring is a dangerous area when 2 boxers enter it.

as professionals, the ref should not preemptively stop the contest.

it's a close call, and a decision needs making within 0.3 of a second .....

let them go for it

Maybe the rules should changed to make it illegal
to hit a man who is unconscious on the ropes?

Sprint, check out Arturro Gatti v Micky Ward 1 (Rd 9). Now that's a VERY laid back referee.

Bobby - I believe that is the case.
Each boxer must defend themselves.

It's all very quick though and boxers do comeback from seemingly impossible situations.

4 punches can happen in 20 seconds and could kill.

Not a sport I have ever done in seriousness.

throwing a good jab is beautiful though.

Still doesn't match the boxing of the 70s:

George Foreman KOs Ken Norton This Day in Boxing March 26, 1974.

( And Ali is there too making many comments.)

Foremans body shots in round 1 had Norton wincing.

He was just too big and strong.
Shows what big shots do.

You have to question the rules of boxing here.

Start at 4.00.
Cooney gets 6 big hits to the head -
he goes down -
the ref asks him if he's alright -
& he's so concussed that he stupidly says yes.

He walks to the middle of the ring & doesn't even see the next 2 punches
that knock him out.
