I knocked out 3 loads of washing today and it's all dried and folded.  I don't iron. Love my new washing machine

I knocked out three loads too.

I did 3 loads of washing today too.

I had a bone marrow biopsy today.

I knew I was in for a fun time when they ushered me into a sound-proof room with some cordless drills on a table ....

An experienced not to be missed.

Was it your skull they drilled? Would have needed super-long drill bits to get through the bone depth.

Trepanning to let the demons out?

No.

Bustin' through the outer shell of the bone was an interesting experience, followed by several slurping vacuum-sucking sessions of the actual bone marrow itself.

Enjoy!

Not a problem.

The young Indian female doctor was brilliant. Talked me through the whole procedure with great professionalism and sensitivity.

Got off the table and caught a bus home. That easy. They gave me the option to suck on a hose with gas in it but I couldn't be bothered.

I used to love working the Theatres when they did 'Hip Replacements'. I used to love watch the drills and saws let those bits go flying. Grisel is quite slippery on floors too.

Did you ever hear of a little Chinese doctor up Newcastle way who used to show off to his uni students by jumping up on the operating table and chainsawing the sternum of patients before heart operations? Had quite a popular little gig going according to the nursing sister who told me this story. Would jump up there like a rock guitarist to the roar of the crowd.
