How FRICKEN amazing is Australia

I haven't seen Lucy and Mal walking around the hood for ages, a busy job I hear he has Wink

Sometimes you just notice the small things that are an indication of how bloody good this country is.

I swung by my local Thai on my way back from the beach, and while I was waiting for my beef pad thai and green tofu curry, the first couple strolled past, enjoying the lovely autumn afternoon with only two PSOs. One 10m in front/ behind and both as causal as can be, cargo shorts, t-shirt, one in a polo.

Now regardless of all our political differences, it's undeniable how good a country is that the PM of the 13th largest economy of the world can do that without a SWAT team or a bunch of goons with assault rifles.

Apparently it is rude to take your shirt off in front of her, but she didn't seem to mind. She just looked like some old lady sitting on the beach.

Never met a royal but I've met every PM since Hawke (except for Jules). Keating STILL hangs around the Double Bay auction rooms like a bad smell bidding first home buyers out of their hopes and dreams
