personal trauma

As I can't post in feedback, I wanted to reply to something Setanta said

Would you really consider that a personal trauma? I've lost a job and never felt traumatised by it.

wouldn't that depend on how long you'd been unemployed? What if you spent the last 5 yrs applying for thousands of jobs, and still been unable to find one? Don't you think that person might take it a little differently to someone who lost their job and moved onto another?

Anyone who can get through 5 years of looking for work without finding any sort of job to go to is a goddamned liar.

If you're willing to get your hands dirty and knuckle down to doing a little physical work in a factory situation, warehouse, or landscaping job ~ there's work available.

I agree with you Mr Smith. But......I also agree with the intent behind what Setanta will do.

More power to his elbow as far as I am concerned.

My sole objection....serious objection....is that Peccary is under a ban for breaching a non existent Rule.

We cannot have moderation at the personal whim of a GMod.

That is for the Member Run Sub-Forums where bans can be imposed at whim.......like Agnes does.

When I was much younger I spent several years unemployed, I applied for thousands of jobs both in Wollongong and in Sydney. I was always overqualified for some, under qualified for others. After a while it can really get you down, which in turn shows when you approach potential employers and makes it harder still to get a job.
