You do realize that the super duper happy go lucky chaps and shelas are more prone to suicide, dont you?
I prefer to be a pessimist
Optomists are always dissapointed.
Pessimists can only be pleasantly suprised
Continually being upbeat may be just a mask you hide behind.
Deep down you just wish it was better..........dont you
When I read the horseshit horseboy posts I get this vision of some dystopia where everybody smiles all the time because bad things happen if you stop smiling. Horrible.
Not so horrible when you realise horseboy is just trying to make himself seem better than he is by denigrating other people.
I used to manage this little guy who was always upbeat, happy go lucky and always joking around.
But when anything upset the norm, he went into depression.
It was so sad, we had to hide things rather than run the risk of him becoming depressed and doing something stupid.
On the other hand there was John
Moan, moan, moan
But he was the go to guy when anything happened.
He assessed, adressed and fixed it without pain or suffering.
The little guy had to have councelling when our factory shut.
John got a job in three weeks.
I think horse poo is like the little guy.
Always trying to see the positive, because to see the negative terrifies him
