Just remember tho that when the brown stuff hits the rotatory object values suddenly plummet deeply. Time to realise assets to create a cash reserve is before poo happens.

I assume that you are being sarcastic with the thread title

The way things are going we will be back to feudal times with land owners and serfs. That will not be good for social cohesion.

The gov has already got its beady eyes on your super. You'll be lucky to see any of it when you need it. They will put you on a drip feed so you may as well be on a pension !!

You can see that one coming, can't you?  They'll take the Grappler Party policy of a single roof over retirement funding, but instead of putting it out of the sticky hands of themselves, they'll keep it close as an enemy, until the next 'national/budget emergency' demands - just demands - that it be taken over by them and you receive a trickle-down instead of your accumulated flow..

This is something that has always worried me.

There are such large amounts of money sitting around it will be difficult for governments to resist the temptation to steal it.

Especially once we get more of these jerkoff millennials in government

They will issue worthless bonds in exchange for your hard earned capital and give you some sort of tax incentive to participate. No doubt many punters will get conned by it and help Malcolm build the Snowy Mountains Mk 2 !!

Hi sir Nail,
the other way would be for the Govt. to not pay you a cent
of your pension until your super was all used up.
They could also limit the amount of super you could take out to say $440 per week.
That's enough to live in poverty even if you have $300,000 in super
& if you die then they don't owe a cent to anyone!
