With Mal driving the good things just never stop

And things will only get better as the Lefties are moved off taxpayer funded WELFARE onto UBER.

Has XMAS come early and will the vile Greenies try to ban it saying it offends their beloved ISLAMICS ?

Wonder what they will do with the MT Centrelink buildings ? Covert them into home units ? Be a nostalgic buy for a Lefty.

And where is Shorty the jobs killer who moves our jobs to China ?

Jobless rate down, but Australians are working fewer hours
Peter Martin MAY 19 2017 - 12:49AM

...

Australians are working less, even as more of us get jobs.

The latest labour force figures show an extra 97,400 Australians found work in March and April – 60,000 in March and 37,400 in April.

Jobless rate beats expectation
The unemployment rate fell to 5.7 per cent in April due to an increase of people in part-time work.

Over the two months taken together, the majority of the new jobs were full time – 62,400 versus 35,000 part time. Yet the number of hours worked per month fell by 1.1 million.

The change appears to have been caused by both full-time and part-time workers putting in fewer hours rather than a substitution of full-time for part-time jobs.

Over the past six months an extra 166,800 Australians found jobs – 101,400 full-time and 65,400 part-time – yet the hours worked per month slipped by 3 million, the Australian Bureau of Statistics figures show.

"More of us are working, but less work is being done. This shouldn't be happening in a strongly growing economy," said Macquarie Group economist James McIntyre. "The jobs growth we are seeing reflects hours being reallocated among workers rather than a real increase in demand."

Riiiight, jobless rate decreases but hours worked also drops.

Useless surveys! Cuts to the ABS means their output is totally unreliable.

There's my STATUS SYMBOL TROLL MM again as boring and uninformed as usual.

Mr Smith is struggling to dig up enough Lefty Propaganda to sound even remotely unbelievable.

At least the participation rate goes up. Hint for Jules. Unemployment figures are better than they look because real wages aren't growing. Don't need a graph for that one. Sorry, I know you like them but maybe some other time.

Mr Smith, I sympathize with you trying to prop up a disaster like Bull Shorten.

But won't things be better when Albo takes up the rains ? Will Shorty retire from politics then ?

Tony Abbott lashing out Turnbull budget. Looks like someone's leadership on shaky grounds.

Independent analysis suggest coalition in deep trouble.  The only way to get around it really is to be really "liberal" in the sense of the word and govern for all rather than a few.  And get rid of BS slogans.
