Albo Sneezy is ducking for cover as Bull Shorten comes gunning for him.
Wouldn't it be exciting if BOTH parties swapped leaders simultaneously ? Just think Abbo versus Albo!!!!Sorry Bull but you look as bad as that ghastly Gillard on TV
Now will I be able to bask in the admiration of my adoring STATUS SYMBOL TROLLS ?Anthony Albanese: Rift with Bill Shorten ‘fake news’Rachel Baxendale Reporter Canberra The Australian 6:52AM May 19, 2017
Anthony Albanese denies there is any rift with Bill Shorten. Picture: AAP.
Anthony Albanese has dubbed claims he contradicted his boss and former leadership rival Bill Shorten “fake news”.In an address to the Transport Workers’ Union in Western Australia, Mr Albanese labelled the Turnbull government’s budget a victory for ALP values, urging the party to “celebrate its victories” and claiming the Coalition had embraced Labor policies.
Mr Shorten has consistently denied claims the budget is “Labor lite”, arguing Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has given “tax cuts to millionaires” while increasing the tax burden for low and middle income earners.
Mr Albanese this morning denied there was tension between him and the man he unsuccessfully challenged for the Labor leadership in 2013.
“This is fake news to quote a prominent American,” Mr Albanese told the Nine Network.
“The fact is that the speech was approved in advance by Bill’s office and perfectly consistent with what Bill said in his budget reply.”
Liberal frontbencher Christopher Pyne said Mr Albanese had thrown Mr Shorten under a bus.
“That speech marks the beginning of Anthony Albanese’s campaign for the Labor leadership,” he said.
“Bill Shorten’s numbers have been consistently so bad and he is holding back the Labor Party.”
The apparent rift comes after Mr Albanese last week labelled an ALP “Australians First” advertisement featuring Mr Shorten a “shocker” over its lack of racial diversity.
The advertisement was dumped by Labor, and Mr Shorten admitted it was “a bad oversight”.
http://www.theaustralian.com.au/national-affairs/anthony-albanese-rift-with-bill...Now some decent COMMENTS - wish the Lefties would learn but very unlikely. Helen 1 minute agoI thought Mr Albanese was the people's choice when a leader was voted for previously. I think he would make an excellent leader - I admire him for the point of view that he believes in his party's values, and represents what the Labor Party stands for. It won't surprise me if the same thing doesn't happen in the Liberal Party soon as well. Both our current leaders are extremely disappointing and need to be replaced.
Robert 2 minutes agoWake up people, Albo is more leftist than Bill.. Don't be fooled by him... Labor need to clear their front bench and start again.. They are all the same ministers from the failed Rudd/Gillard era..
Guy 3 minutes agoEven though Albanese is an unabashed lefty he is likely to take, at least on the surface, a more reasonable stance on things like budget repair than Shorten who is effectively a puppet of the factions and the unions. In contrast Albo's base is the rank and file so he is his own man
Of course the last "own man" to run the ALP was Kevin Rudd and he turned out to be completely unpredictable.

ony 7 minutes agoWhile Tanya is around, and speaking clearly in a way that keeps the more leftist part of the electorate listening intently, then anything Albo has to say is just dust in the wind.
Brian 2 minutes agoWho knew? I always mute the sound when she's speaking.
Lloyd 11 minutes agoBoth Labour Parties have dud leaders Shorten and Turnbull.Albanese against who will be the next Liberal Leader.
Clifford 15 minutes agoBill Shorten was only ever elected as Opposition leader when Labor lost office because the Labor Party knew no one else wanted the job,....and with Bill Shorten as leader, that was as bad as the labor Party could fall, but now, midway through the term of government, Labor needs an alternate PM, as with the corrosive anti everything, practised by Mr Shorten, since 2013, Labor, if it won office at the next election, couldn't govern as Bill has ruled everything out, and is only promising higher taxes for the lifter's of the Country, and more borrowings, with no chance to reduce spending.
Anthony Albanese as the new broom for the Labor Party, going forward, while not perfect, at least gives them a chance to make some sensible changes, that maybe both sides can agree on, for the improvement of Australia's fiscal position,....Bill Shorten can't do that, he has burned all the bridges behind him!
gbe 19 minutes agoChristopher Pyne has obviously got Malcolm in his pocket judging from the taxpayers money being pored into S.A, however I doubt anyone else takes much notice of the mincing poodle.
Debra 21 minutes agoAlbo' shirt is too small and enhances his turkey neck.
