I did lamb shanks once.  They tasted great.....meat just melting off the bone.  Only problem was they stank the house out during the cooking process.

My wife hates the smell of lamb cooking. She's suffering as we type. It just makes me hungry.

I just read that 5 mins before going to lunch.
Now I have gone from going to get a sandwich to potentially a kebab....

Though a kebab or lamb in the middle of the day. Just doesn't feel right.

As long as it tastes good Andrei I don't care how it feels.

Were you impressed by my kebab story last Sunday?

Don't think I saw it. Impressed you overcame your islamophobia and paid them some halal money? Grin Sure.

It's a slow process cooking Lamb loin properly. Cook them on the fat side on a low heat, then turn them 90 degrees onto the bone and let them cook through from the bone. Lastly quickly hit them with high heat on both sides before serving.

Turned them to sit on the bone just now. Another 3/4 hour and they'll be ready to caramalise the sides and eat.

Such a late diner. Are you timing your meals to give you strength for epic all night jousting sessions?   Smiley

Already had dinner. Long term planning for my midnight snack. I did take another two out of the freezer, just in case. Up for a night of jousting?

No way. 8am netball game. Oranges don't cut themselves ya know.

What time are you going on eat the lamb, and what are you going have it with?

They do those at the tavern near where I work. If I ever find that they have them on the menu, I definitely get a meal.

We had Kebabs for dinner on Friday. I usually get lamb but I had a falafel one for a change.
