what are you babbling about? we are talking about the financial ruin barnett has left WA in.

I thought you were talking about the state budget. McGowan's pre-emptive strike about how tough it will be. And how all of us will be hit.

Although of course the poor will be hit hardest.

You are kidding arent you? Pre emptive strike? Blind Freddys blind and deaf dog knows WA is deep in the sh!te financially, this aint news to anyone. Mcgowan doesnt have to do anything to win the next election. Barnett is lucky not to be in prison although that may change as more evidence of his shady dealings are revealed.

Will go down as possibly the worst manger of the states finances in Western Australian history (if you believe the buck stops at the top).
The media in WA deserves an absolute caning for it. Make no mistake, the basically single media outlet states media continued to prop up this pathetic example of a fiscally inept leader for a decade before West Aussies finally woke up. Even Stokes and other business elites eventually had to jump off the bandwagon and sort their own media out and they were coming from Colin's own side of the fence for Christs sake.
As one Richard Court stated after his term finished and the party was shopping for a new leader. "Whatever you do, don't let Colin Barnett near the top job". If only people had continued to heed that advice!!
