INteresting statistical analysis of ONe Nation voters.

Seems like they are more from the city, definitely Aussie-born but not uni educated. They have little experience with issues around immigration and have fears about it.  The key point is they are pissed off with government and hence ONP is anti-establishment.

The last point, is that ONP have to develop policies to keep the protest vote, or as experience shows, it just drifts back to the original party,

She will suffer the same fate as Clive , but implode even faster, she clearly see saws with policy depending on where the popularity lies , her supporters are knuckle draggers , to be pitied rather than despised .

Not to mention she has a habit of copying Trump, and that's not going to end well

"Looking back, and angry: what drives Pauline Hanson's voters"

Ultimately, it's ignorance.

The fact that they are not uni-educated comes as no surprise to me.

They don't hate anyone more than the series of deadsh1ts who have governed them for the last 30 years.

I doubt the anger will end anytime soon.

No but it will just transfer to the next anti-establishment party.

And continue to do so until the establishment decides to listen.

Once again, I doubt that will happen anytime soon.

I read that article, and I thought for the ABC, it was reasonably objective. At least it dropped the tired old cliches that her supporters are reminiscent of toothless hillbillies, and could not possibly have any real concerns.

Very unusual for the ABC.

Labor party research and focus groups report strong growth of support for One Nation in seats on the fringe of big towns and capital cities, seats on the edge of – but not actually among – migrant suburbs.......

Labor Party research???? Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin The outer suburbs of Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne are highly multicultural. What a load of bollocks.

I don't blame anybody for not reading this Labor sponsored  leftard rubbish. The Blacktown district in the outer suburbs of Sydney has a massive PHON following and it's one of the most diverse areas in Australia. Pauline even did a demo at the Rooty Hill RSL. That flushed that article down the drain. Of course PHON supporters live in migrant suburbs. That's probably why they like Pauline.

Good article ... double dutch in a few spots, but it wasn't only about statistics of One Nation voters. There is some interesting percentages of dissatisfaction among Greens/Labor/Liberal/Nationals - for example:

This is the breakdown of those who thought the national economy was “a little” or “a lot” worse than it was a year ago:

National 35%
Greens 44%
Labor 46%
Liberal 47%
One Nation 73%

Those figures are a lot higher than I thought they would be, but not really all that surprising
