I suggest you shut up, Nappy.  You'll see the carnage soon enough.  Collinsville, destroyed.  Hamilton Island, destroyed, Bowen, Mackay, Airlie Beach, Schute Harbour etc etc ferked.

How many dead?

Try to be sensible. Queenslanders are there because they like it.

No sympathy, especially if they didn't "have insurance".

NOBODY makes you live in an area where they are Tropical Cyclones.

How many dead would make you happy, Nappy?  Who said anything about insurance?  Yes, people live there because they like it.  You live in a sheep toilet, get fly blown and like it, apparently.

People live in.....oh......where..............yes ~ Florida eg because they like it there too.

ABUSIVE PERSON REPORTED.

I hope you have reported this abusive person nef..

Luckily, there has been no death Agnes, but there has been wide-spread catastrophic destruction.

I have no idea what your reference to WA is about.

The news said roofs were blown off and other damage from poor design, construction, and quality of materials in this cyclone-prone zone.

I look forward to seeing the idiots who designed these houses being taken to court to have their licences stripped off them.

It is in times like this that the community really rally and show resilience and community spirit. I want to thank the SES worker who had a spare carton of VB.

Link?
Even modern building standards are designed to protect structural integrity in winds up to a Category 4 cyclone. As Debbie was a Category 4 cyclone it was right on the limit on what even a modern house could withstand.

Why do they name cyclones after women?

Is it because when they come they're wet and wild and take your house and car when they leave?  Wink
