This is despite the fact that White House counsel had already tod them not to do so and therefore putting them at significant risk of criminal sanction. What do they have to hide? QUITE A LOT

While most people expected him to screwup, did anyone expect this level of scandal? A level that overwhelms Watergate by an order (or two) of magnitude?

Some smart guy said, "Politics is the art of the do-able." Trump keeps demonstrating that he does not know or care what is do-able. But as long as he can cut spending on environmental and social issues the Republicans will follow his two left feet. Like most people, they are a bunch of contradictions. Their concern for the country is genuine, but often tainted with self-interest. And in their heart of hearts they are philistines. The Democrats are just as bad in different ways. Either group contains individual wisdom, but no collective intelligence. Americans are not unique, so all we can do is weep for the human race.

I agree with you.

However, just to be clear, you're not saying Trump has genuine concerns for his country, are you?

Because, if you are, I'll have to strongly disagree.

Trump has concern for three things, and three things only:

1. How to make more money for Donald Trump

2. How to make Donald Trump more popular

3. How to legally have sex with Donald Trump's daughter.

Exactly. That's why the American people voted for Mr Trump. He's a negotiator. He gets things done.

The leftards should be made to sit down, watch the Apprentice and see first-hand how a player like Mr Trump works. He's not a self-made billionaire for nothing, you know. Not everyone's had the most popular casinos, the biggest-selling book, the highest-rating TV show, the number-one spot on the Forbes 500 rich-list and the biggest presidential vote in history.

Mr Trump's a closer. he gets things done.

Thank heavens the grown-ups are back in charge.
