The cumulative total of data/info/research on climate change indicates there is a case to answer.

Because there is billions of dollars invested in it. So it has to be true.

I don't think that's a valid rebuttal.

Why?

There's probably just as much (if not more) $$$ invested in maintaining the status quo/climate change denial.

You probably haven't included Greenpeace funding. Like the #ExxonKnew campaign. Greenpeace funded by Soros. Rockeferller etc.

"
Conservative billionaires used a secretive funding route to channel nearly $120m (£77m) to more than 100 groups casting doubt about the science behind climate change, the Guardian has learned.

The funds, doled out between 2002 and 2010, helped build a vast network of thinktanks and activist groups working to a single purpose: to redefine climate change from neutral scientific fact to a highly polarising "wedge issue" for hardcore conservatives."

So according to the Guardian about $15m/year. The Guardian says so it must be true.

The US is $77 billion alone on climate change.

Its not a valid rebuttal. Who gives a poo how much is spent on it, the denial side is weak scientifically.

In a time of universal deceit — telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

No evidence whatsoever it can be attributed to George Orwell or Eric Arthur Blair (in fact the same guy)

Ok....but my point is that we have stakeholders investing a hell of a lot of MMM on BOTH sides of this debate.

Now why doesn't the mention of this hypocritical POS's name surprise me?

Please elucidate. No one I know denies climate changes. No one I know denies land use change will give rise to a level of AGW.

No one has proven that CO2 has caused measurable warming.
The reason behind GW is a postulation that "all other things being equal" a rise in CO2 will give a rise n temperature. No one that I know of has even tried to prove all other things are equal.

Of course if you have evidence to the contrary please provide it.

And the sun is so quiet it is a force for cooling the climate here. Instead—the globe is warming up fast.

And that is causing weather extremes and has lengthened the wildfire season remarkably and has caused problems with drought and floods.

We have had weather extremes through history. It is not new.

By how much has the wildfire season been lengthened?

Droughts and floods - never happened before?

That 1°C has caused wildfire season to be extended, created more severe weather extremes and problems with precipitation and droughts.

What will another 0.5°C bring? We shall find out, I fear.
