Aussie mortgage payers getting behind

Australia-wide there has been a slight increase in the number of loans more than 30 days in arrears.

But in the mining states of WA & Qld the situation is a lot more serious - surprise surprise.
WA has seen a rise of 40% over the past year in loans in arrears.

Know the enemies of a civil society by their public behaviour, by their fraudulent claim to be liberal-progressive, by their propensity to lie and, above all, by their attachment to authoritarianism.

Buy in a boom town, then it shuts down... top dollar for a pre-designed kit with three beds two baths and a garage in the Middle Of Nowhere.. then the mine shuts its gates and out you go with no money and no way of selling the house.  One day some smart entrepreneur will scoop up these ghost towns for a song... had a dream one night about exactly that....
