Reading the comments on the Australian. It's pretty odd that they seem to disregard the poor statistics that Barnett lead for 2 cycles and claim labor will do worst. It does remind one of "doing the same thing and expecting a different result" as a definition of insanity. Clear trending downwards on economic indicators but believe libs are doing a good job?

It is nothing short of astonishing , a measure of good government should be how they deal with the tough times , the harsh reality is the libs have failed on a state and federal level monumentally , the numbers are clearly there for all to see .
