BOM is threatening showers in Canberra tomorrow.  I hope they are right for a change.

I heard it would be more than showers. My daughter is going to some classical concert by a river in Queenbeyan but she expects it to be washed out.

More rain predicted for a week here.... I like to check the BOM rain maps etc.... get a better idea that way.

Oh - the yard lizards (the weather forecasters) are fine - even come out while it's raining for the heat and warmth.... still warm enough to heat them up.  When they begin to find it a little cool, I'll plant peas....

Happy for the rain since I don't have to water....

Let us all use our mind power and force the showers and rain into Qld where it is needed.

It's times like this I think I'll never get all the mowing done ever again. I'm talking acres of grass here where a couple of weeks ago there was nothing.
The mowing is not so bad, it's the going round first to pick up the tree litter.
Insanity now!

How many acres?  I've got a HUGE garden (comparatively) about 50m of lawn to mow Smiley

I haven't seen the garden since it started raining 8 days ago as it's all the way at the bottom of a terraced block.

There's probably 4 acres of grass, a lot of trees in it though (watch your head) and some more closely forested that I try to get through as well.
But it's worth it for the isolation.
