You got nothing
So you've totally missed the point then? The award doesn't separate between the genders, but the culture still finds in many cases women being offered less to do the same job.
If you've never seen it, you're either blind to reality, very lucky to have been employed by people doing the right thing for their staff or never held down a real job.
It's not happened everywhere I've worked either over the years and when I employed people I've always paid what the role was worth not based on who was interviewing*.
*With a slight exception, those straight out of uni that were more of a risk had more performance reviews. Oh course there is a range of pay for a role given experience etc, but I've always sought to pay the higher rate and get the person with the experience.
But ultimately, you post like someone with some serious mother figure issues, more and more this keeps popping up with the current climate of womens rights and "time's up".
(And no, I'm not talking about militant feminists, they often do more damage to the cause of equality)
You're lucky, like me, being a while male in Australia (I assume), we've have everything favour us over women and non-white Australians for decades. It's no surprise that someone with such insecurities as yourself sees equality for all as you somehow losing out or having your rights impugned.
As I said before, you're just showing your own ingrained weakness and fear. God forbid you'd have to complete with women on a level playing field huh?
It's just like those people who take issue with Black Lives Matter claiming it should be "all lives matter" then push for the status quo, claiming "show me the law that says blacks are treated differently!".
If everyone followed the letter of the law we'd be a much better world.
