Your point was that the birth place of modern freedom and democracy, the people who ended slavery in most of the world, including the Arab world, the people building two new democracies from scratch in a place that has never seen democracy - this intervention is actually the greatest threat to freedom and democracy.

Yes Aussie. I do think that our establishment of two new democracies in the middle east has something to do with democracy.

Likewise, I think the real and genuine (and as yet incomplete) struggle against the Arab slave trade has something to do with slavery.

Do you disagree? If so, can you explain why?
