Public Service laziest bastards on the planet
Feb 20th, 2017 at 1:59pm

These fkken cretins wouldn't crack a sweat in a sauna, there is lazy, then there is dead, then there is the Australian Federal Public Service.

Nine minutes, folks that's what it takes to cause apoplexy in the average public servant.

STAFF at the Australian Taxation Office have rejected a push to extend their working hours by nine minutes a day.
ATO employees work some of the shortest hours of any government department, but a recent proposal to extend their day to finish at 5pm was dropped after a backlash, the ABC reported.
The current standard hours are 8.30am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 4.51pm. Where an employee’s hours on a particular day exceed 7 hours and 21 minutes, the employee may elect for the extra hours to be deducted from their flextime.
Management said the proposal to extend hours by an extra 4.5 working days a year would have improved productivity and been more in line with community expectations, but proved “highly contentious”.

No evidence whatsoever it can be attributed to George Orwell or Eric Arthur Blair (in fact the same guy)

That's a 38hr week over a 9 hr day if you include the unpaid lunch hour.

So WTF are you on about?

Why would it be necessary to increase it by 45 min?

And what would the benefits be to anyone?

What a load of bollocks.

Why don't you support the investigation into reigning back the multi-million dollar salaries of CEO's & top executives in the public services & even more so the private sector?

Most of the other APS agencies staff have already traded working  the extra minutes for two extra days off between Christmas and New Year!

10 day break without using up your ARL, not bad eh!

I have no recollection of ever not 'supporting the investigation into reigning in the multi million dollar salaries of CEOs & top executives in the public service & even more so in the private sector', as I did not know there was movement in this area.

First up I despise all pubic servants from the lowest of the low right to the very top, so don't get me wrong there.

Second private sector companies pay what they pay, absolutely nothing at all to do with me; now if it bugs the fkk out of you, think of becoming a director or major share holder and then YOU can do something about it.

Busy for 7 hours and 21 minute,

. having tea and bickies,

. Staring out the window

. Checking out how close it is to a break or knock off

. Avoiding actual work

. Attending production meetings

. Inclusiveness and awareness seminars in other cities

He was employed by the Department of Defence.

No one ever accused him of working there, though.'

But yes, you're point is well made: BigHole was a public servant.

No you are.

Have you read their EBA?

Tell me what benefit an extra 45 min a week provides?

I bet their time has all been traded & accounted for with other concessions.
