IMO, everyone living in Australia has a good opportunity to make good choices for themselves.

[in my own life:     when i started school i was living in a childrens home, later i lived with foster parents.     i've never been in trouble with the police, i have never been either charged, or convicted of any criminal offence. i have never spent a day in prison.]




IMO,

Stan Grant, is like the negroes/black [and their 'humanitarian' self hating white followers] in the U.S. on the streets, that we see on the TV news, with placards reading;





IMO, expressing something like that [at a street protest], IS WRONG, AND IT IS RACIST.

The implication in that slogan, is that        'BLACK LIVES MATTER'       more than the lives of people of another ethnicity.

Do the people who carry such placards imagine that black men/women in the U.S. do not commit crimes against whites or hispanics, or Chinese Americans, etc ?

I don't see him much, I don't watch TV as a rule. Ate dinner in the bedroom the other night and the wife put the TV on, he was standing in on the 7:30 report for maybe Leigh Sales? I thought, dude! I used to watch his shows, and have always liked Stan Grant for presenting himself as a gentleman and a reasonable fellow, and so it's a little disappointing to see him become an aggrieved activist at this late date with hardly a good thing to say about modern Australia and its people.

I'd love to have a chat with him and tease out what has caused this sudden departure from being the otherwise affable and likeable fellow that he has always seemed to be to his audiences of yesteryear. This sudden bitterness has arrived like a bolt out of the blue, totally uncharacteristic of the Stan Grant we once knew and thought so amiable and comfortable in himself.

He should try to get into politics and use it as a platform for voicing his grievances.

I don't believe for a moment that he's not still the admirable gentlemen we oldies remember him to have been back then when he anchored his shows.

He'll be toast if he carries on much longer in this vein. 

Someone should send this to Ray and Stan on their Facebook blogs.

If Grant turns up on my TV screen the channel is changed. No ifs or buts .

I believe they have the wrong people fighting their causes.....it always tuns out about money and who holds the purse strings....

and that  it isnt usually the ones in the outback....

and until they wake up to themselves ... this will never go away.

The articles were full of so many inaccuracies that Bolt is either a straight up liar or a lazy journalist who doesn't bother to check his facts. The man has form in other articles as well.

The singer Kamahl has also said he received a lot of racism during his singing career here - something that surprised me.

I wonder what these incidences of racism were. Was it the much-vaunted Aussie larrikinism that is supposed to test your mettle, or was it something more serious and ugly?

I'd like to read his autobiography to find out.
