Police have reportedly launched a murder inquiry into the death of Hugh Hefner, with insiders believing it is “extremely likely” the Playboy founder was silenced before he could name Hollywood elite pedophiles as part of a plea deal.

Hugh Hefner was found dead in suspicious circumstances on Wednesday at his home in Los Angeles, just days before he was set to be arrested on child sex charges, according to a Los Angeles police source.

Hefner had been dealing with police on a daily basis for the past three weeks, trying to work out a plea deal, after an investigation, launched in 2009 after a lawsuit was filed against Hefner, suddenly “went hot.”

“The 2009 case went nowhere. We just couldn’t prove anything. There was plenty of circumstantial evidence, but ultimately it just boiled down to her word versus his,” the LAPD source says.

The 2009 case was launched by Sheri Allred, a Los Angeles native, who alleged that Hugh Hefner raped her when she was 5-years-old.

But in August this year, the case was re-opened after “a significant number of similar complaints were filed. After questioning Mr Hefner we understood that he had mountains of incriminating personal information about a powerful group of Hollywood pedophiles.

“We are talking about dead girls on altars, women being caged and tortured for years, Hollywood execs filming each other performing the vilest acts for blackmail, as the most evil acts are always done on the most innocent.“

“We were building up to one of the biggest pedophile raids in history, certainly the biggest in this city in my lifetime.

“We were working out a plea deal with him, so we could get our hands on the physical evidence and really go after the pedophiles, but then we found him dead.“

FOUL PLAY SUSPECTED

Detectives are looking into whether Hugh Hefner was suicided, with the death scene later arranged to resemble a natural death. A team of investigators have been put in place and they are refusing to rule out a criminal homicide charge.

“If we can prove who silenced Hugh Hefner, then we will have a tangible link to some of the most powerful people in the country who perform unspeakable acts with children.”

Asked whether Hefner was actively involved in said “unspeakable acts“, the LAPD source said, “Look, we all know his taste. But this does not mean that he didn’t often get bored with all the easy sex with predictable partners. Perverts need to find sicker and sicker things to get turned on.”

Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein accused of decades of sexual harassment

THE legendary producer behind some of Hollywood’s biggest movies has been hit with explosive sexual harassment allegations.

OSCAR-winning producer and movie mogul Harvey Weinstein is taking a leave of absence from the Weinstein Co following a bombshell report in the New York Times about sexual harassment accusations dating back decades.
The Times cited “dozens” of current and former employees who reported inappropriate sexual behaviour on Weinstein’s part.
The paper also reported that Weinstein reached confidential settlements with at least eight women, including actress Rose McGowan.

The studio executive has long been a powerful force in Hollywood.
He’s best known as the co-founder of Miramax and The Weinstein Company, which collectively have produced dozens of the biggest films released over the past couple of decades - including Pulp Fiction, Shakespeare In Love, Scream, Good Will Hunting, and all three instalments of The Lord of the Rings franchise.
Following the allegations, Weinstein told the New York Times: “I appreciate the way I’ve behaved with colleagues in the past has caused a lot of pain, and I sincerely apologise for it. Though I’m trying to do better, I know I have a long way to go.”
In his full statement, he added that he had been “learning” about appropriate behaviour.
“I came of age in the 60’s and 70’s, when all the rules about behaviour and workplaces were different. That was the culture then.
“I have since learned it’s not an excuse, in the office - or out of it. To anyone.”

The story cites a memo drafted by Lauren O’Connor, a former Weinstein Co employee, which raised alarms about allegations over a two-year period. Another incident involved a temporary employee named Emily Nestor, who was invited to Weinstein’s hotel room in 2014 and told he could help her career in exchange for sexual advances.
While Weinstein disputes some of the specific allegations, he is working with a therapist to address his behaviour, the Times reported.
The story quotes actress Ashley Judd, who spoke to Variety in 2015 about being sexually harassed by an unnamed mogul.
Meanwhile, a lawyer for Weinstein is threatening to sue the Times over the report, claiming it is “saturated with false and defamatory statements”.
In Charles Harder’s statement to Page Six, he claimed it “relies on mostly hearsay accounts and a faulty report, apparently stolen from an employee personnel file, which has been debunked by nine different eyewitnesses.”
The lawyer added: “We sent the Times the facts and evidence, but they ignored it and rushed to publish. We are preparing the lawsuit now. All proceeds will be donated to women’s organisations.”
While Harder didn’t specify how much money they planned to sue for, sources told the New York Post it could be as much as $US50 million.

The police chief investigating claims that Sir Edward Heath was a paedophile is convinced the allegations are ‘120 per cent’ genuine, The Mail on Sunday can reveal.
More than 30 people have come forward with claims of sexual abuse by the former Conservative Prime Minister, according to well-placed sources.
And they are said to have given ‘strikingly similar’ accounts of incidents to Wiltshire Police – even though the individuals are not known to each other.
The Mail on Sunday has been told that Wiltshire Chief Constable Mike Veale regards the allegations as ‘totally convincing’, and plans to publish a report in June.
Detectives have established that, contrary to claims that Sir Edward could not have committed the crimes as he ‘never drove a car’ and ‘always’ had a police driver with him, he did drive – and did have a car.
They have photographic evidence that shows he is a driver, and have established that he had a driving licence. He also bought a Rover 2000 after being deposed as Tory leader by Margaret Thatcher in 1975, when he was 58.
Astonishingly, Mr Veale is also understood to support claims that Sir Edward’s alleged crimes were reported to police years ago but covered up by the Establishment.
Some of those who said Sir Edward abused them are believed to have told police they went on to commit sexual abuse crimes themselves as a result.
The investigation into Sir Edward, called Operation Conifer, was set up in 2015 in the wake of the Jimmy Savile scandal.
Mr Veale came under pressure to abandon the inquiry last year after separate claims of a paedophile ring at Westminster involving former Home Secretary, the late Lord Brittan, and former Defence chief, Lord Bramall, were found to be groundless.

‘There are very close similarities in the accounts given by those who have come forward. The same names used for him, the same places and same type of incidents keep coming up.
‘What stands out is that the people giving these accounts are not connected but the stories and the details dovetail.
‘It contains disturbing stuff. Investigators have been shocked by what they have learned.’
Another source said: ‘The police were initially sceptical about the allegations, but now believe them. And they have come round to the view that they were covered up in the past because of who Heath was.

After decades of sexual abuse by Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein was revealed by The New York Times, FULCRUM investigators gave a fresh look to some pre-election coverage and commentary which mentioned both John Podesta and Harvey Weinstein.

One article, from the Hollywood Reporter back in October, shines an ugly light on the close alliance between Hollywood, John Podesta, and the Clinton camp.

Although every line of their article is worth reading and analyzing, this part bothered me the most:

"Really enjoyed the time together," Katzenberg wrote March 12, 2015, to Podesta of a joint L.A. meeting with political consultant Andy Spahn. Spahn later wrote to campaign manager Huma Abedin and Podesta, saying Katzenberg would like to meet with Clinton in NYC. "She … probably should. She hasn't engaged with him in a while," Abedin replied to Podesta on March 25.

Jeffrey Katzenberg recently raised many millions for The Young Turks, a popular LA-based YouTube channel, so that they can continue their attacks on President Trump - and continue their lame dismissals and cover-ups of Democratic criminality.

The Wall Street Journal reported that The Young Turks plan to use the money to "double the size of its newsroom and business operations."

They should return that filthy Hollywood elite money, but you know they won't.

Again, Hollywood, please fall into the ocean. Take the pedophiles and Clinton cover-up freaks and witches "casting hexes" on Donald Trump with you. We try to avoid poor language here on FULCRUM - editorial policy - but Hollywood: Go *&^% yourselves.

America is waking up and our patience for sickos and liars in Hollywood has evaporated. We expect 2018 to be one of the worst years on record for the box office.

The media’s “Trump Bump” is starting to get the attention of investors.

The Young Turks Network, the left-leaning, YouTube-driven political news outlet led by outspoken activist Cenk Uygur, has raised $20 million, which it plans to use to double the size of its newsroom and business operations.

The funding round is being led by newly formed growth equity fund 3L Capital, with additional backing from venture capital veterans Greycroft Partners and e.ventures, as well as Jeffrey Katzenberg’s recently launched WndrCo.

“News is red hot right now and being positioned on the progressive side of the coin has put us in a very good place,” Mr. Uygur said.

He said the company currently has about 70 staffers and 30 freelancers but plans to use the investment to increase its staff to about 200 people. Part of that expansion will be in creative talent, but Mr. Uygur said it would also entail building an ad sales team and bolstering its paid subscription offerings.

The valuation of Young Turks in the deal wasn’t disclosed.

Launched on YouTube in 2005, Young Turks’ flagship political commentary channel has grown to 3.4 million subscribers and serves as the anchor for a raft of other, smaller channels focused on sports, film and tech.

Young Turks -- which threw it support behind the candidacy of Bernie Sanders and has been sharply critical of Donald Trump’s presidency -- has enjoyed strong growth over the past year across many of its channels.

Its primary channel saw 14% growth in subscribers and a 30% increase in views on YouTube compared to July 2016, according to OpenSlate.

The company has largely grown without the benefit of major investment. In 2014, it signed a $4 million convertible note with an investment firm led by former Louisiana governor Buddy Roemer. The following year, it took in $4.25 million from an undisclosed group of “non-institutional” investors who Mr. Uygur described as “smart, savvy people in the industry.” And in May, it raised $2 million through a crowdfunding campaign in order to hire a dozen investigative journalists.

Versions of Young Turks content have appeared on cable TV and satellite radio over the years. Mr. Uygur has also targeted over-the-top streaming services, which the company’s investors see as fertile territory for growth. The company is currently available on Pluto TV and Comcast ’s “Watchable.”

“The macro trends around how millennials are consuming news and their political interest has made this a good business opportunity for us,” said Shawn Colo, a partner at 3L Capital.
