Message to Canberra: It has absolutely nothing to do with money, and everything to do with forcing the abos to live by the same rules as the rest of us. The same Centrelink rules. Attend interviews. Accept jobs you can do.

The abo leadership does exactly the same thing with government grants and subsidies as our Islamic schools do ... skim off the top for their own private agendas.

Some of those, er, 'business men' look suspiciously indigenous ... but yes, it's probably just a group of 'black-face' minstrels touring the Outback doing an Al Jolson 'Mammy' gig ... Roll Eyes

So what's new?

For 40,000 years no one owned their own land, and so there was no motivation to value-add to it by the brighter among them.

Even at this present time, working urban aborigines will tell you that their wages are seen as rightfully to be shared among their extended families if anyone wants a portion of it for a given reason .... and there's always a reason.

Aunty Betsy needs dental work done ... Uncle Clarence needs a motorised scooter to get around in ... etc.
