Crazy.

Well, if that's the case, my earlier prediction will probably come true.

That is, he'll die in custody awaiting his trial.

He killed a couple of kids, I don't like his chances if he's put in with the general population.

he wont be. That wont be his choice.

Doors are accidentally left opened.

Shoe laces are accidentally left lying around.

Its not uncommon for accused in custody to refuse to attend court hearings, they are of course charged with the offences before they attend court so he remains in custody with a possible contempt of court charge if the magistrate so decides. He can also be ordered to attend forcibly in chains although that is uncommon.

Yes, he's been charged with five counts of murder.

This must be a typo, though:

"He has been remanded in custody and ordered to face court via video link in August."

Why do you think August is a typo?????????

Eight months before his first court appearance?

Nah.

Yep.........Special Mention in August when he'll appear via video link.

correct. Nothing abnormal about an 8 month adjournment.  Comes off his sentence anyway.

I hope they leave a long piece of rope lying around.

With the vehicle attacks in Berlin & Nice you would have thought
that our Victoria police would have had a plan to stop this happening in Melbourne.

What was the plan?

Why didn't it work?

Who is responsible?
