its time these people went to jail
Jan 17th, 2017 at 5:36am

http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/news/nsw/sharks-in-sydney-idiot-ecowarriors-put...

DUMB so-called “ecowarriors” are putting lives at risk by sabotaging shark nets off Sydney’s busiest beaches, leaving surfers and swimmers unprotected from the man-eaters cruising our coast.

With NSW in the grip of a shark epidemic — including 22 grisly attacks since 2015 — stupid Greenies have vandalised a series of shark nets at Queenscliff, Bondi, Dee Why, Manly, Curl Curl and other popular Sydney beaches.

Primary Industries Minister Niall Blair slammed the mindless eco-vandals yesterday, saying: “Deliberate acts of malicious damage are not just dangerously foolish, they can attract sentences of up to five years jail under the Crimes Act.”

this is unbelievable    and someone organises it..

when you think of the money wasted and the danger they put people in....

10 years I think may give them a chance to wake up to themselves.. Angry Angry

I don't condone the vandalism in any way.

However, it's the surfers and swimmers who are putting their lives at risk, nobody else.

There are sharks in the water.

If you don't want to get attacked by a shark, don't go in the water.

If hitting yourself on the head with a hammer hurts, don't hit yourself on the head with a hammer.

I condemn the vandalism, but it's the individuals that are putting their lives at risk.

As usual, though, people are looking to shift the blame.

Kinda doubt it. Only a beach-hater would scold beach-goers for actually going in the water. UNless you were there just to perv on the girls and I do mean girls, not women.

Shark nets are devastating to the marine ecology.

They should all be removed post haste.

Swim in the ocean at your peril.

Get rid of the nets then let the dingoes patrol for sharks after they've eaten all the goats

I'm not scolding them for going in the water.

I go in the water.

I'm scolding them for complaining about sharks.

And how much of our beachfront has shark nets?  0.001%

not exactly a devastation.

Typical emotion based m0wrons who always sweat the small stuff. Tell them to go to the Chinese embassy and protest against their factory twawlers that hoover up more by catch in 10 minutes than the nets ever have.
