Taxpayers to fund another gun buy back
Dec 9th, 2016 at 7:39pm

The Government has decided to move all lever action shotguns that contain more than 5 rounds to Category D, this effectively bans lever action shotguns with more than 5 rounds as anyone with a category D license would buy a more modern semi auto over a lever action.

The taxpayers will have to buyback all lever action shotguns including the Winchester 9410 which holds 10 rounds because people will no longer be able to legally own them.

There has never been a crime recorded with lever action shotguns in Australia this scare campaign on the Adler will have the bedwetters taxes being used to buyback lever action shotguns.

There are no recorded crimes done with lever action shotguns in Australia bwian, we are banning a type of gun that has caused no deaths, no injuries, no armed robberies.

We are banning them because of irrational fears, pissing money up the wall to buyback a type of gun that hasn't been used in any crimes.

How much are they going to pay and what did it originally cost the owners to buy them?

This type of Government regulation reminds me of Dog training. The purpose is to get the dog to respond to its training by looking to the master for reward. All good things come from Government and you will get your reward if you respond to your training. Look to the Government for your safety and maybe you will earn a comfortable place by the fire! So to all you wouldbe gun banners "Good Dog".

You can have pump action and lever action rifles that have no magazine capacity limits if it has an integral magazine  yet for some reason the bedwetters are scared of a shotgun that holds 7 rounds.

This government document says shotguns are only effective up to 20m from target animal, the bedwetters are crapping their pants in fear of a type of gun that has the shortest effective range compared to any other type of gun.

I have no idea of how much taxpayers will have to pay to buyback a lever action shotgun that has never been used in any crimes in Australia.

We have had lever action shotguns in Australia for over 100 years without them being used in any crimes I don't know why it's suddenly a problem for the bedwetters who used fear to get them banned.

Why, you are less likely to be killed by a licensed gun owner than a practising muslim, and we ll know how you loooooove muslims.

I have a group of gun owners living all around me and I find them nothing but polite and law abiding; why would you want to impose such laws when there is no need to.

But so as not to be a filthy scumbag hypocrite, we should impose they same level of 'security'; on muslims, 'just in case', as we do gun owners; just in case.

You are more likely to be killed by a law abiding muslim than a law abiding gun owner.  Smiley Smiley

We are banning them because of their potential to cause deaths and mayhem in our society, Baron.

A potential which sees us unable to have super-high-powered cars on the roads, despite them never causing a death on our roads.

Sometimes, it is considered simply too dangerous to allow a dangerous item into the hands of those who may potentially misuse them.   Something you appear happy with, as far as Atomic/Chemical/Toxic/fully-automatic weapons, Baron or do you propose that those be allowed to be possessed by the common citizens as well?   Roll Eyes

We have super high powered cars on our roads bwian ya dopey dim wit, I recall a crash with 3 people killed involving a F40 twin turbo V8 Ferrari, can you stop telling lies.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

This poll with people who live in the country had 98.41% saying the Adler lever action shotgun should not be in Category D.
theland.com.au/story/4346186/poll-9841pc-say-adler-should-not-be-in-category-d/?...

You can only shoot guns in police approved firing ranges or country areas zoned rural, the country people don't have a problem with lever action shotguns it's only the bedwetting inner city types who never see guns fired who want them banned.

Imagine banning muslims because of the potential for them to cause deaths and mayhem in our society when the devout muslims enagage in Jihad.  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes ::
