CO2 on the other hand is increasing in concentration as has been observed at Mauna Lao and Cape Grim.
Seeing as CO2 is a proven greenhouse gas do you recken there might be a connection?

CO2 is also a known greenhouse gas and CO2 levels have been shown to be increasing (unlike water vapor which falls out as rain)
The problem is that the science is being ignored (or deliberately distorted) by those with a political axe to grind.
So is it a cause of global warming? Or is it merely a possibility?
But according to AGW theory, a warmer world will increase water vapour. Are you saying this is NOT happening?
let's see 1880, according to reconstructed data ~280ppm, 0.028%.
Current ~ 400ppm, or 0.04%. Hardly a great increase. And most of any postulated temperature increase would occur in the first 100ppm, and that is long past.
Then of course there are the various ocean currents that get overturned. Do you think they have an effect on climate?
Nothing has been shown to be anything other than natural variation.
