Don't be disingenuous.

Continental Europe does not include the British Isles.

Perhaps you should slot Australia under 'Oceania'.

I agree with Herbert. The UK is a separate entity, not Europe, no matter what the Eurotragics and history deniers try to say.

Britain has never seen itself as part of Continental Europe due to it being an island off the coast, and because the indigenous Brits are not wogs like the rest of them.  Cool

UK is breaking up; its done for. Brexit is the start of the disintegration of the UK. Scotland is next and then the other bits of Brits will fall. Then it will be England and the rest.

Brexit is the start of Britain reclaiming itself from a slow drift towards becoming an integral part of a European Socialist Republic where all power is vested in a Central Committee composed of idiots like Angela Merkel.

He's everything like Trump who wants to "Drain the Swamp" of corrupt and criminal politicians, as well as return America to being more independent of foreign involvement just like Grillo wants Italy to withdraw from the European Union.

He's nothing like trump. Trump will tell you whatever you want to hear, even if he knows he's lying through his teeth. 5 star movement votes according to what it's members vote. The opinions of the Mp representing the 5 star movement is irrelevant, he has to vote according to the wishes of his members. Trump would NEVER do something like that.

I understand that it runs on lines of Direct Democracy and Citizen Initiated Referendum as in California, and that's why the liberal press calls it a 'populist movement.

What's ridiculous is listing every Australian State instead of just 'Australia'.

I'm predicting FD will be too proud to do what he knows he should have done in the beginning, and that was to name the country that founded Australia.

Not rocket science or even Lego.

Great Britain
The UK
The British Isles
Mother England

Lots for FD to chose from.  Cool

The UK has always been Australia's Crystal Ball to the future. What happens there across a broad range of issues is soon taken up by our politicians pretending these are their own invention and initiative.

Good luck with your election, John .. my prayers are with Grillo.  Smiley

It's not my fault the UK's Daily Mail is online on my computer. I've tried to delete it, but it just won't go.

Same with John Smith and La Fiamma online coming in from Italy - he can't delete it because of a special code they inserted into the URL.

It certainly is 'member run', because if it wasn't 'member run' the likes of irritating pests and thread-destroyers such as 'Gregg' would have long since been sent off into permanent exile.

not looking good for Renzi

Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi looks to have suffered a heavy defeat in a referendum over his plan to reform the constitution, according to exit polls and early projections.

Where the hell's Grillo in all of this? Not a word about Grillo, but still ...

"Matteo Salvini, the head of the rightist Northern League party, said Mr Renzi should resign "in the coming minutes" and called for early elections".

This looks hopeful.

Let's hope Italy is returned once again to being an independent country free from the socialist bastards who run the European Parliament.
