I meant 'we' in a very brotherly sense. I mean this bad ass has to be dealt with; imagine a Muslim not voting for a Muslim.  The question is; How much amputation is too much?

Only because they wanted to illegally intrude.

Illegal intruders must be kept out.

Entering illegally is not claiming asylum.  It's intrusion.

Claim asylum in Indonesia. It's safe.
Isn't it?  For Muslims it is, at any rate.

no they can't. Indonesia doesn't recognise asylum seekers.

Of course they can, of course they do. You can claim asylum anywhere, regardless of the country being a signatory to a convention.
Today, UNHCR has more than 60 people working in Indonesia. As of end of January 2016, there are 7,616 asylum seekers cumulatively registered with UNHCR Jakarta mainly from Afghanistan (50%), Somalia (10%) and Myanmar (5%). Meanwhile the number of refugees registered with UNHCR Jakarta is 6,063 people mainly from Afghanistan (49%), Myanmar (11%), and Somalia (8%).
