Inri was written on his cross when he was crucified. So it's nothing new.

By a couple of Roman soldiers taking the piss.

Whether it was a piss take or not doesn't alter the fact that 30 years later the New Testament refers to him as such.

It's common knowledge that the books of the New Testament were written not long after Jesus' death.

Quote:
John A. T. Robinson, Dan Wallace, and William F. Albright dated all the books of the New Testament before 70 AD.[4] Others give a final date of 80 AD,[5] or at 96 AD.[6]

You seem to be doubtful of your own post. Which year will you settle for?

All I am saying is that the word 'Israel' grates in terms of that Carol.  Jesus was born the "King of Israel?''

Phark off.  I don't recall him ever ascending a Throne, or even likely to.

The bloke was a pissant pauper peasant punter who got 'hung' for his troubles.

Hanging or beheading Bobby? We're not Muslim so I guess it's a good hangin'.

No wonder you gave up practicing law a/hole (if ever you did??), driving a taxi is just about your level.
