The Old testament and the Koran are a bit similar.

It is suspected that Mohammad copied the Old Testament and changed the names and jazzed up the stories a bit to "create" the Koran.

The Old Testament has been modernized but the Koran is still in the Stone Age.

ADDITION:-  Nobody criticises or condemns the 'normal' Muslim, who is a generally peace-loving person dedicated like all to the betterment of self and family - but when the 'small minority' quite literally commit atrocities in the name of religion and place themselves outside the human pale in the name of religion - and that approach is NOT mirrored in the response of those they do these things to - there is a serious flaw in your thinking......
