How will it help you here?

Even if, say, it was to the detriment of Australia?

I doubt it's going to have a big impact on Australia. Australia has 20% of it's trade with the US. I doubt Trump will destroy this. That's bad for the US.

Article II of the US Constitution provides that the President “shall be removed from office on impeachment for, and conviction of, treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanours”.

Why is it that every other country on earth takes their borders very seriously but if mine and yours try to do it it's a big issue???? Having your border down will only cause future issues. South America is going to waltz on in in and re-colonise your country. You do know that Marla?

You are so blind

Sorry, I thought you were American. Very simply, the electoral college system ensures that large population states can't overwhelm smaller ones with a simple majority. Very much like  how referenda are decided in Australia.

Everybody knows how it works.

The point is, the American people didn't get the President they wanted.

More people who went to the polling booth wanted Hillary as POTUS.

This is an indisputable fact.

The indisputable fact is that if Clinton was truly the peoples choice  then they would have got out and voted for her.  However she could not muster enough support to gain a majority of votes in a majority of states.  This indicates that the majority either voted for Trump or did not like Clinton enough to vote at all.

More people voted for Clinton than voted for Trump. This is an indisputable fact. It's not even debatable.

Thus, the American people wanted Clinton as their POTUS.

Because of the Electoral College, though, they ended up with Trump.

America didn't get the President they wanted.
