I think they were playing safe.

I mean living in South Australia can seem a bit like death so they may have been knocked over in the rush.

Of course if it was death by electric chair.....

I'm not joking around, mike.

Unlike my grandmother who died in an awful amount of pain - and everyone including the medicos knew 6 weeks prior she was going to die - I would like to die with dignity and without pain.

We are all in the same place Nicole.

But you have to laugh at our politicians, the alternative is having to take them seriously.

I have no idea what sort of brain squirming toady things go on in their minds, what ideology alows them to ignore the people.

Precisely mike. The overwhelming majority of the people are pro-euthanasia.

This is why people like Hanson and Trump are getting in - they listen to their constituents rather than viewing them as plebs to be ruled over and not listened to.

Yes Malcolm Roberts is thesame, He listened to his voters, all 77 of them.

In a time of universal deceit — telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

No evidence whatsoever it can be attributed to George Orwell or Eric Arthur Blair (in fact the same guy)

"Voluntary euthanasia voted down by SA pollies"

What part do works of fiction play in this?

When it is the Word of God, it carries far more weight than mere mortals. Just be honest and say that you dont like outcomes you disagree with. If bible-thumping Christians had endorsed Clinton you wouldnt be saying this. Of course churches shouldnt be endorsing ANYONE in politics.

Not true at all. Not only is it not an OVERWHELMING majority, most people when engaging the debate with facts ratehr than opinions, oppose it.

It looks like you've mistaken me for a Clinton fan.

Here's a hint: I'm not.

More than 70%.

Yes, you shouldn't think so just because he is partisan.  Smiley

I just said I wasn't a fan of Clinton's.

Do you know what 'partisan' means?

In case you've forgotten: "an adherent or supporter of a person, group, party, or cause, especially a person who shows a biased, emotional allegiance."

I'm not a supporter of Clinton, so how am I partisan in regard to her?

What a pity -

Vote #1

Derryn Hinch Justice Party:

http://www.justiceparty.com.au/euthanasia

YOUR RIGHT TO DIE
VOLUNTARY EUTHANASIA

The question in the movie title said it all: Whose Life is it, anyway?  That’s the crux of the issue and the opinion polls consistently show that more than 70% of Australians believe in voluntary euthanasia. It was briefly legal in this country in the Northern Territory, thanks to trailblazing doctor, Philip Nitschke, but the federal government (under Liberal Prime Minister, John Howard) stepped in and over-ruled the Territory Legislature.

Justice Party founder Derryn Hinch has supported this cause (and Dr.Nitschke) for decades.  He watched his mother die from cancer. ‘She looked like a Biafran. She weighed about 30 kilos. I sat through her last night with her and thought of ending her suffering with a pillow. If she had been a dog, and an RSPCA inspector had walked in and seen her like that, I would have faced a cruelty to animals charge’.

Hehehe, I am pointing out why someone might think you support Clinton what with the daily avalanche of posts about Trump, might look like a partisan position.
