Should the Tasmanian Governor stay or go?
Oct 28th, 2016 at 10:18am

After attacking Pauline Hanson last week, and thereby involving herself in politics, should the Tasmanian Governor go or stay? Amazing that no politicians have condemned this and supported Hanson, with the exception of Jacqui Lambie and Eric Abetz. If this had been a conservative, Twitter would blow up and you'd get all the usual menopausal loony left feminists screaming blue murder.

In a time of universal deceit — telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

No evidence whatsoever it can be attributed to George Orwell or Eric Arthur Blair (in fact the same guy)

Governor entitled to make comments: Greens

The Tasmanian Greens have argued the Governor was entitled to make a stand against racism, and the Government's response had been weak.

Greens Leader Cassy O'Connor said Pauline Hanson should "not intrude in Tasmania's politics".

She criticised the Premier's response, which was to speak to Professor Warner about the comments.

"What he should have done is stood by Governor Kate Warner and rejected Pauline Hanson's divisive and wrong comments," Ms O'Connor said.
"Kate Warner was simply fulfilling her duty as Governor to promote mutual respect and tolerance."

Would you have been making the same remarks if she had been supporting far-right views rather than criticising them? Not likely.
