Another labor MP demonstrating higher principles than libs - another quick recognition of fault vs. Bronwyn's long non-apology.

Victorian minister under fire over dog act
AAP Updated: 9:12 am, Friday, 28 October 2016

...
Woof Woof!!! Patch and Ted and Steve

A Victorian MP chastised for using a taxpayer-funded car to ferry his dogs between his homes has also failed to declare one of his houses they were going to.

Corrections Minister Steve Herbert has repeatedly apologised for using the car to chauffeur his dogs Patch and Ted more than 120 kilometres between his homes in Parkdale and Trentham while he was at work.

Mr Herbert blamed his 'tough job' for his error in judgment.

But he again came under fire following reports he had not declared his Trentham property on the parliamentary register of interests.

Late on Thursday night, Mr Herbert confirmed he had updated his register of interests to include the house in Trentham.

'I own a block of land and a house in Trentham, which is my principal place of residence,' he said in a statement to AAP.

'Living in my electorate is important to me.'

On the most recent register of interest, tabled two weeks ago, Mr Herbert declared a block of land in Trentham, but not a house.

He also declared an investment property in East Melbourne, 50 per cent ownership of a house in Parkdale and 69 acres (27.9 hectares) in Yinnar South.

I do hope though, that the coalition supporters are ready to cut and paste when it's the next time a coalition mp does something.  Think Geoff shaw, or Bronnie - so many coalition supporters on the forum were not out to condone but trying to deflect.  laughable if it wasn't just pathetic double standards.

Just another example of how utterly stupid politicians are as a breed.... how anyone could have the gall to transport his pets via his government provided car and driver is beyond me.

What is wrong with these people - other than their too easy access to unlimited funds for themselves....

The same could never be said about the Liberals - those dogs show more loyalty than the entire Liberal party.

To be honest.

The dogs deserve better than the politician, at least dogs are loyal and serve a purpose.
