Whatever happened to 'multiculturalism' - or does that only apply to immigrants?

looks like this will open a huge can of worms...... most business have a right to refuse to sell their own goods...

this is total rubbish it isnt as if they were the only cake baker in Ireland..

at least another Gay activist has the good sense to realise this is all wrong and will do more harm...

Many ways to skin a cat.

If I owned a cake shop and a Muslim wanted a cake decorated with 'There is no god but Allah' , I'd take their money and write 'there is no dog but allah' apologise profusely for the typo and offer a refund.

This is a new one on me.

I didn't know you could be prosecuted in a Western country for simply refusing to produce a cake for a gay couple. That seems a little excessive to me. I would say the same about a gay bakery that refused to do a hetero cake.

The solution is to shop around.

People's business should be their business without interference from the PC mob.

What gets me about this story is, they refused to take the order because the message was inconsistent with their deeply held religious beliefs yet, breaking the law is perfectly okay with them.

Their religion doesn't seem to be compatible with civilised society.

The same thing happened in America not long ago, with the
same result...costly legal bills for standing up for your
"principles".....

Typical Pecca answer. If it was Muslims knocking back Christians he'd be backing the Muslims.

They breached equality legislation.

Christians don't like to obey the law, so it seems.

I don't back anyone who breaches legislation.

Why do these white Christians think they're above the law?

Do you think a conservative Muslim would be ok with making a cake with an icing portrait of Mo?

I doubt it.

Do you have a point, or are you just trying to change the subject to Muslims, like you always do?

Your trolling is becoming worse than that of Herr-bert's, you know.

You do when it's a minority.
