I'm not going to vote in the ratbag's poll. If I can't in the poll we were promised, why would I vote in a jerkwater OP poll?

You can't read very well, can you. I merely suggested he try to login to OP as a Guest using his own email address. I'm not suggesting anything else.

See?  I don't think you CAN login as a Guest using your own e-mail address. Mind you, I'm not much into these things, so who knows?

I wanted Aussie to try it, and see if he can, seeing as he is much more experienced in these things than I. Smiley

How can how politicians waste even one second of time & also $160 million
on a plebiscite about giving sodomites the right to marry?

Australia has gone crazy.

The whole world is crazy - we're all gunna die.

I agree, Bobby. Unfortunately, the Upper House, the left and three quarters of the Lower  House are willing to approve SSM. The uncertainty of a plebiscite is the only way it could possibly  NOT happen.

Thanks - I'm glad that someone agrees with me -

there are still some sane people left in the world.

So recent Poll (not this one) shows reducing popularity for the plebiscite.. finally people are waking up to the sting in the tale..  Roll Eyes

let the people's representatives do their job. A vote in Parliament is the only way forward now. Hopefully the government will now recognise and acknowledge their little trick isn't what the people want, or need. Most of us, I am sure, think there are many better ways to use $174,000,000, than a political ploy.
Lets stop the BS LNP MPs and get on with your job.
You're not winning any hearts or votes with these political games.  Angry

Every one of your  fallacious arguments has been addressed over and over. Repetition is a form of concession.

When I consider my niece and the ex's nephew - both 'gay' - I think I'll vote Yes.  Just as long as I'm not labeled a Homophile or something.... any labeling automatically puts me in the opposite camp on any issue... then I'd be stuck since being labeled a Homophobe for so long for not supporting (wow - wasn't that Sir Thomas Mann?  I neither oppose nor accept - I simply decline to enter the argument) marriage for gays has nearly lead me to an automatic No vote.

So all you Gay-lovers out there - handle the public gently - beating them with a handbag will not force them into the line you choose for them..... but since many have gay relatives and friends, maybe they'll vote for gay marriage - but please stop calling it equality..... marriage is not a right....
