This seems such a retrograde and expensive piece of political waste, when the money could be much better applied elsewhere.
WHO wants this plebiscite.? and WHY.?.
Cannot our government do as they are elected to, and act in the name of the majority of voters.?

They ARE doing that by keeping marriage between a man and woman. That IS the majority opinion given that various biased polls on the question dont count. And this is the interesting question for opponents of a plebiscite. If it is not held there will NOT be gay marriagae at least this govt term. So why is there opposition to it?

it's a good point and one that raises the question of the 'gay agenda'. Given that they have equality what is the argument for a peice of paper that people are abandoning in droves anyhow? Is it merely so that they can create trouble or is it as the above post suggests, part of an attempt to destroy the family unit which is a tenet of marxist ideology.

PS. Ive never met a happy gay. it is perhaps the worst descriptive word ever.

Polygyny would likely lead to an increase in assaults and murders. Monogamy on the other hand is stability.

Incest, to hereditary disease and eventual infertility of the gene pool (extinction)

Same sex marriage, well if everyone complied it would lead to extinction too....but that's like saying, if everyone committed suicide it'd lead to extinction...it aint gunna happen.
