To Horse boy and Cods...  so much ignorance,  so little time.

If you are denying that suicidal ideation is not a well observed side effect of antidepressants, you're simply an idiot

It's just a fact.

Alcohol is a short term stimulant but a long term depressant.
definitely best to avoid this.
Food(nutritous) and exercise and sunlight exposure are all really helpful in treating depression.
everything feeds into everything.

Lifting weights will actually make you crave good protein.
(you'll go home and have a good tuna salad)
Doing alcohol or pot might make you crave bad food (pizza or a kebab).

Our natural history as we age is that each year, most people get a little more beaten down (they get a little worse).  if you look at the average person this is fairly easy to see.....just a slow decay.

you can counteract this is one way and one way only....you have to contribute high vibration energy into the world.

When i look at people who have given into laziness, i feel really sorry for them. Once you allow the taker, welfare , me me me, self pity and complaining mindset dominate you,,,it will literally send you crazy.

so laziness leads to craziness.

You have to keep contributing .

every time someone complains, i just wonder WTF are you doing.  negativity becomes a mindset.

You know the expression

"where ever you go, there you are"??

i have no doubt that those with a complaining mindset, if i sent them to hawaii for a beautiful holiday....

they would probably feel good for an hour or so as they looked at the mountains and the water etc.
But by 4 pm on the first day it would be

the taxi driver was rude
this room is too big, i cant find anything
or this room is too small.

it doesnt matter...negativity is a disease of the mind.
Laziness and negativity ruin lives.

I dont complain EVER and i work hard ALWAYS.

i do this totally from a self interested and selfish perspective....because if you dont do it....you are F*ed  Wink

I used to ocean swim with a guy who had some very serious clinical depression. There were times when I literally had to drag him out of his house in a headlock but as soon as we hit the water he was temporarily cured and it lasted all day.

people will become used to and eventually addicted to whatever mental state they are in.

and they will RESENT you trying to get them out of this state

one need only look at the DEEP RESENTMENT that many of the cry babies on here have to a positive message of self improvement. they dont want to improve.
If you are in with a group of buddies and you try to improve, they will resent it  (they will think you think youre better then them)
If you are a fattie with a bunch of fat friends, they will resent you trying to lose weight (they will think you think youre better then them ).

Laziness leads to craziness.

Jump in the ocean, change your physiology, CHANGE YOUR MOOD.(examples of this include dancing , which will elevate your mood)   a pill might help a little but you have to take massive action to improve anything in life as the default is always inertia and the default is always failure.

People dont want to succeed
People dont want to be happy
People dont want to change.

they say they do but humans are the greatest rationalisers and excuse makers in the history of life on this planet

In a time of universal deceit — telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

No evidence whatsoever it can be attributed to George Orwell or Eric Arthur Blair (in fact the same guy)

Nope.  Definately suicidal ideation.

I take it you have personal experience.. Cheesy Cheesy

because otherwise you are turning people off getting help..

you see some do not think there is any other way to deal with depression.....than pills you claim make people suicidal...its total rubbish....like has already been explained you do not mix alcohol and these meds.....and if they should be held accountable they are removed from the market.......unless you have personally been there done that.. I dont think you should make these remarks on a public forum like this...

men are already loath to go the to doctors for help....

mike hasnt even been diagnosed and I am sure he is far from any suicidal tendencies.....good grief..unless you can claim every suicide was taking anti depressants....which no one can...then stop the morbid... [/quote]I know personally of more than a few people who have committed suicide and quite a few more who tried, anti depressants didnt stop any of them. Anti depressants are a gigantic medical con job run by big pharma. In studies sunlight and diet modification have shown to be a better treatment.

It was probably Gordon's applying mouth to mouth resuscitation that did it.

i post on here to write ideas down and export them out in a spirit of contribution.
writing stuff down helps clarify looser ideas and crystalise them and this is a useful way to program your brain.

in all seriousness, if you write down ideas fresh in your head, you become more "bought in ' to these ideas.

its why journaling or keeping a diary can improve your thought processes.

and if you think of ideas you wish to "get out there" you are doing neuro -linguistic programing.

most communication is both external and internal.

we talk to oursleves 'all the time"

there is always a record or a narrative "playing in your head".
and if you dont want to go crazy, you should ensure this record or narrative is pure, positive high vibration energy.  Wink Wink
