Whats happening with the forum?

I couldn't get onto the forum earlier, and got a message to the effect that it was being updated, or something.

Now ?? posts are acting wacky. Go to the end ..double click on > and you get something from the first couple of pages.

Hopefully it will sort itself out.

I just tried to post this message and got something never seen by me before.

That was my fault. I filled up the server disc space.

It took a while to resolve because the hostgator technical support is going downhill fast. I actually thought they were having problems all over the place because their tech support functions basically didn't work. No, it was just my site, and their support is always that bad. I am paying over US$100 a month for that.

They also make it impossible to find out what the disc space limitations etc are.

At least that's better than what I thought was happening, I was up till 04:00 taking it out and back into maintenance occasionally and copying all the ips connected, I guess I can delete the file now.

Sounds like the ads are paying well freediver!

Perhaps a pay per post might help the pensioner members!

1. That is way too much. FBD (my Forum) was just as large as here a year or so before Phil got crook and I took it over. I pay just a standard couple hundred bucks a year! and have instant phone support in Australia 24/7/52.

2. That explanation is odd and ignores the attack notice a banned Member gave a couple of days ago.

3. This happened when former Member Mattywisk gave similar notice of an attack. (I'll dig that up. I kept it bookmarked.)

Pg 1 is now the most recent page. Huh?

Is that happening to everyone.?

Instead of reading from the top of the page I have to start from the bottom and read up. Is it something to do with MY settings ?? except I never have set any. Before the latest posts were at the end of the pg numbers not at page one.
I don't like it either.. its arse about face. Huh

The same thing has happened to me. Underneath where it says the page numbers at the top of the page, you'll see a tiny blue arrow. Click on that and that should sort you out.
