I tried to view at one point and there was a huge banner message claiming to be some group or other. And wasn't there some person a few days ago, impersonating Emma Peel, who threatened to bring the site down.

yes Bogarde "allaboutme" was his name I think..I'd say it was an attack as well. If not, it was very co- incidental.. but I am not an expert by any means..
