Forced marriage in Sydney

This has nothing to do with adult arranged marriage.

This involves Australians born Islamic girls usually 16 who are promised to a man about 20 years their senior, usually a cousin or uncle. They're taken for a 'holiday' back to Lebanon etc. and given the good of news and come back preggers.

So how prevalent is this? Apparently very on SW Sydney and Enough to get a book written about it.

The discussion on ABC radio with the author and a teacher was a fair bit less apologetic than the blurb in this link

The teacher who was on the ABC radio segment was nearly in tears and said the numbers were in the 100s from SW Sydney.
