You still haven't answered the question.

How does this effect you.

I know "the gays" are icky/scary but how does it effect you?

Unless you have a secret boyfriend who will now expect marriage, what effect does this have?

Hmmmmmmm

Now there's a new slant on things....

Wink

Next they will want FREE "re-assignment" surgery on Medicare. Then FREE IVF as well.

ALL homosexuals that I have known take the role of either male or female. So it is a CHOICE ... not an infliction at birth.  Grin

The 1950's want their sensibilities back.

Gone are the days where there is mens/women's work (except for a king/penis model).

I think it SHOULD be the first thing the newly elected Govt does. I couldn't give  a fying fluck who wants to put what where...as long as it's consensual and legal.

This debate is of such little consequence to most people in Australia and it's sucking oxygen from more important issues.

Just get it done and move on to more important things like banning Muslims  Cheesy Grin Cheesy Grin

Why don't we ban all religion for 50 years and see how civilisation goes.

"Infliction" at birth?

I doubt you've ever met a gay person. If you have you probably made them very uncomfortable.

Everyone seems to be missing the real reason Shifty Shorty is pushing this queer stuff.

He is trying to get the votes of the inner city gays who usually vote for the sick diseased Greenies.

no one asked me a question.

How does this effect you.
It changes my society

I know "the gays" are icky/scary but how does it effect you?
It changes my society.  I have many gay friends...  none of them want it and all of them say the equality crap is a con for the usual idiots in progressive parties.

It changes my society.  If I was gay I wouldn't want it like gays most don't.

Shorten has said same sex marriage will be his first legislation if he becomes PM. Surely there's more important things to be done for the country than that? This guy is an imbecile.

Isn't it time to put it to bed?

How much more time is spent on it, daily, than the ten minutes it would take to vote on it ?

It's obviously not going away

If only Turnbull could show the same determination of leadership that Shorten has

grendel knows more than 50% of the gays in the country and they've all told him they don't want gay marriage. Now stop asking him for proof of his claims.

You see...  now that's the problem Mothra...  progressives like you have no clue and no foresight.
How about you exercise the grey matter between your ears and have a go at it instead eh.
I'll give you a clue...  Marriage is the Union of a Man and a Woman...  has been for millennia...  its not about equality, its not about love...
There you go, that's all the help you get. Cheesy
