Hope y'all like yer memories of Melbourne friends

Because they'll be memories and that's all. Them fine folks from the Wilds of Asia and such can sign up and bring over their grandpa and grandma too. The whole family is coming over and Melbourne will be changed forever. Sydney Town too.

Sydney is a city that is being divided up like a cake between subcontinental Indians and the Chinese.

Property and business ownership is being financed by syndicates in India and China who have their agents working for them here, and at the same time the appearance of Indians and Chinese immigrants in the suburbs has increased rapidly.

The petrol stations, the small corner shops, and the 7-Eleven shops have been getting bought up hand-over-fist here in Sydney over the past 5 years, and the latest switch-over has them buying out the Chinese newsagents and replacing them with Indians.

And then overseas Indian investment syndicates have for some years now been buying up residential properties for turning into mini-slums of cramped villas and townhouses.

Nice suburbs are being turned into scores of soulless battery houses for humans instead of chickens.

My work has taken me all over Australia except the NT.

I've seen all the major cities and while they too are good.

Nothing beats Melbourne.

Crickie when I lived in Sydney at Cronulla ( which I might add was wonderful) they didn't even know what a piece of flake was at the local fish'n chips.
