This is in my area, I'm sure there are mower centers down your way with similar prices.

That one looks really nice John - 21" which would get the job done faster.
Self propelled too!
Still a bit pricey but it could it be worth it in the long run.

found one closer to you at an even better price

I hate mowing the lawns.. waste of time..

so I bought a 28 inch Yard Bug...  Smiley

zip around the lawns in no time... I reckon I've changed the oil on it once in 15 years.. or maybe just topped it up..  Undecided

still on the original spark plug and on its third battery..

I have now put a solar charger on it to keep it topped up Smiley

A friend of mine insists that Victa lawn mowers are not made in China.

You mean the motor wouldn't turn - it was locked up?

While the mowers may be assembled here, Briggs and Stratton is an American company using the Victa name to sell its products in Australia.

"ARE VICTA MOWERS STILL MADE IN AUSTRALIA

"Yes! Virtually all Victa mowers are assembled at Victa's factory in Moorebank NSW, from components sourced mostly from local businesses. The 2-stroke Victa engines are made in Australia, while the 4-stroke Briggs & Stratton and Honda engines are manufactured at their various international facilities. All internationally sourced components and finished goods are designed, manufactured and tested to ensure compliance with Victa's rigorous quality and safety standards."

The Victa's had the dick
